The fourteenth series of the British television music competition to find new singing talent began to air on ITV on 2 September 2017. The judging panel remains as Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Sharon Osbourne. Presenter Dermot O'Leary returns for his tenth series. This year there are just six live shows, down from the usual ten. Acts also go home at the weekends. Auditions took place in June and July 2017 and Bootcamp was filmed live at The SSE Arena, Wembley in front of a studio audience. Rumours circulating state the location and assistants are Cheryl helping Cowell in America with the Groups. Sharon is being helped by Jack & Kelly Osbourne in Europe with the Girls, Scherzinger will be helped by Stormzy in South Africa with the Overs and Walsh will be in Istanbul with Mika with the Boys.

Britain's Got Talent

The eleventh season première was on 15 April 2017 with Ant & Dec returning to present the main show on ITV. Stephen Mulhern returned to present the spin-off show Britain's Got More Talent on ITV2. Judges were Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams. For the first time, all five Golden Buzzer acts reached the final. Musician Tokio Myers was declared the winner of the series on 3 June. The series will return in Spring 2018.

The Voice

The Voice UK is a competition to find new singing talent. Previously broadcast by the BBC, the show is now at ITV and in its seventh season, to be aired from January 2018. Emma Willis is solo-hosting the main show, and Cel Spellman is presenting the online spin-off show The V Room. Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am will return as coaches. Danny Jones may be replacing Rossdale having impressed on the first series of The Voice UK Kids. It is rumoured that Cheryl and All Saints member Melanie Blatt will be replacing Hudson.

The Voice Kids

The Voice Kids is a junior version of The Voice UK for children aged 7-14 years. The première on British television was on 10 June 2017, presented by Emma Willis, with coaches will.i.am, Danny Jones and Pixie Lott. Repeats were also aired on CITV and ITV2. All the shows were pre-recorded including the semi-final, recorded in February. The only live show was the final where the winner Jess Folley received £30,000 and a family trip to Disneyland Paris. There is no date set for series two, but it will be some time in 2018 on ITV.
