Charity events in the UK

They are not only a way to gain new supporters, they help already loyal supporters as well as raising much needed cash to enable charitable work to continue. Here are six of the biggest charity events taking place in 2017-18:

  • Virgin Money London Marathon: 22 April 2018

Join Mo Farah as he starts his new road-race career and several thousand other runners, many of whom will be running for the events charity for 2018, the Teenage Cancer Trust. Other charities can also raise money by buying places for £330 for runners who pledge to raise a four-figure sum. This scheme has offered 15,000 guaranteed places to 750 British charities.
